Search tips
1. Set an appropriate date range
- A date range that's too long returns too many results to analyze easily
- We recommend starting with a range of one week to one month
2. Combine search types
- Selecting text + audio searches both captions and spoken dialogue
- This produces more comprehensive results
3. Use the commercial filter
- To check how something is covered within programs -> "Exclude commercials"
- To check advertising exposure -> "Commercials only"
4. Exact match vs. related match
- Exact match: Only results that exactly match the entered keyword
- Related match: Also includes similar expressions (may introduce more noise)
Troubleshooting
If you get zero results
- Check the keyword's spelling/script (hiragana/katakana/kanji)
- Try widening the date range
- Try adding another search type
- Try a more general keyword
If you get too many results
- Narrow the date range
- Restrict to specific channels
- Use a more specific keyword
