Notification Issues

Here's what to check if keyword notification emails aren't arriving.

Notification feature prerequisites

The notification feature is available on the Standard plan or above. It is not available on the Starter plan.

Common causes and solutions

1. Check your spam folder

Notification emails may have been filtered into your spam folder.

Solution:

  1. Check your spam folder
  2. If you find a notification email, mark it as "not spam"
  3. Add @sdio.co.jp to your allow list

2. Check your allow-list settings

Your email filters may be rejecting the messages.

Solution:

Add the following domains to your allow list:

3. Confirm your notification settings were saved correctly

Your settings may not have been saved.

How to check:

  1. Go to the search settings screen (/account/search-settings)
  2. Check the Keyword Alerts section
  3. Confirm a group has been created
  4. Confirm the following are configured correctly:

- A keyword is entered - A search type (text/audio) is selected - Target channels are selected

4. Check whether a search type is selected

No notification is generated if no search type is selected.

Solution:

  • Select at least one of "Text" or "Audio"

5. Check whether target channels are selected

No notification is generated if no channels are selected.

Solution:

  • Select the channels you want to monitor
  • Use "Select all" to target every channel

6. No data matches the keyword

If there was no exposure for the keyword during the configured period, no notification is sent.

Solution:

  • Try a more general keyword
  • Search for the same keyword on the search screen to check if there are any results

7. Confirm your email address is correct

Your registered email address may contain an error.

Solution:

  • Check your email address in Profile Settings (/account/profile)

Please confirm the following:

  • [ ] You are on the Standard plan or above
  • [ ] A keyword is entered
  • [ ] A search type is selected
  • [ ] Target channels are selected
  • [ ] Your settings have been saved
  • [ ] @sdio.co.jp is allow-listed

When notifications are sent

Notifications are sent at the configured time:

Frequency Sending time
Daily Every day, at the configured time
Weekly Every week, on the configured day/time
Monthly Every month, on the configured day/time
Note: After you configure a notification, the first one won't arrive until the next scheduled send.

  • The keywords you've configured
  • Your notification frequency setting
  • The last time you received a notification (if known)
  • Chat: The icon in the bottom-right of the screen (weekdays 10:00-18:00)
